week 2

Week two started off with some great weather and exciting activities planned for the rest of the week! We hope you had a great 4th of July, and we would love to hear what you did. This week, we are holding an amazing field day with entertaining activities onThursday (July 7).

This Wednesday (July 6), made Basic Cake Donuts with Janice. The points that could be earned for each group for this day were through activites such as Group Quilts, for the most creative quilts, through Leaky Garbage Can, and through Invent a game, for the most creative games. We were excited to see what the total amount of points for each group, came up to be at the end of the day!

This Thursday, your children took part in Field Day! Field Day is a combination of numerous activities and "stations" that incorporate your children working together as a team to achieve points for their group. Some of the activities include, egg and spoon races, tug of war, slip n' slide, frozen t-shirt contest, sack race contest, and sneaker hunt. We hope your children came home saying they had the time of their life on this day!

This Friday, group 6 went to the one and only Roller Kingdom! Magic World Sports Challenge/ Magic World King of the Mountain, visited camp too, where your children played around in Bouncy Houses and blow-up sports houses. We hope your children, overall, had a great week!

  1. I just wanted to say thanks to the staff of Community Education. You all work so hard to make my kids happy. Everyone always wears a smile and walks around with an upbeat attitude. You all really make my kids summer special. They wait all year long to get to camp, so thanks for taking such good care of my little ones and for all the hard work you do, it does not go unnoticed!
